Our 5-day immersive adult swim retreat in Maui guides you step-by-step from the shallow end to the deep.

Let the warmth of Maui melt away decades of dread. Our 5-day learn to swim and snorkel retreat from September 11-15 will transform your relationship with water.

We start in the pool, unraveling the mental blocks that have weighed you down. With compassion and patience, our instructors will teach you how to have calm confidence from the ground up. You'll master essential skills like breathing, buoyancy and movement through emotional coaching to prevent anxiety sabotage.

Here’s what you’ll take away:

Over the week, we journey into deeper waters, both physically and mentally. We start with the foundational skills in the resort pool and finish the week with a breathtaking ocean experience. Imagine gliding weightlessly as colorful fish welcome you to their world.

This is your chance to wash away avoidance and panic, emerging uplifted and free.

Day 1: Arrive, 3pm Pool Session 1 - Understanding Your Body and Mind in Water
Day 2: Two 3-Hour Pool Sessions - Moving with Ease
Day 3: One 3-Hour Pool Session - Going Deeper
Day 4: Two 3-Hour Pool Sessions - Snorkeling and Bringing It Together
Day 5: Open Ocean Snorkeling Excursion, Depart

Where will I stay?

This retreat is hosted at the beautiful Napili Kai Beach Resort on Maui. After you enroll instructions are emailed to you on how to reserve your room. All rooms have kitchen's and are steps away from the beach. Rooms are normally $575/night plus tax. Our special 34% discount gives you a rate of $380 plus tax. You can stay up to 3 days before or after the retreat at the same discounted price. In order for us to use their pools for class you must stay at the resort for the days of our class. We are delighted to have you be welcomed, as the wonderful staff says "home".

Can I bring a guest/spouse?

Yes! There will be time between our swim sessions and the evening to enjoy relaxing and sharing adventures together. Couples or friends can take the class together and share a room. There are many activities local to the resort for guests who are not enrolled in the class including tennis, golf, pickleball, walking/hiking trail, massage, shopping and of course pool and ocean swimming!

If you would like to find someone to share a room with let us know and we will connect people who have this request.

Extra guest is NOT needed to have an amazing learning and relaxing experience. Solo travelers are welcome and how most people attend.

Cancelation and Guarantee

No refunds after July 10, 2024 for any reason.

Room reservations follow the policy of Napili Kia Beach Resort.

Any refund request before July 10, 2024 will have a $500 non-refundable fee.

Course fees will be refunded if the resort or Calm Within Adult Swim has to cancel the class due to reasons out of their control (global pandemic, massive wild fires). The resort or the swim school are not responsible for any additional refunds or liabilities that maybe incurred.

We do not guarantee specific swimming results. However we do guarantee that if you follow the program, ask your questions, come with an open mind you will be delighted with what you are able to do in such a short amount of time. Our promise is to deliver the highest quality instruction for the adult non-swimmer to move safely in the water, have fun right now and have the tools to continue to develop your physical and mental skills.
